Beginning in 2025, Louisiana Medicaid will be implementing a Dental Incentive Payment Program. MCNA encourages all of our participating general and pediatric dentists to join in a stakeholder discussion on this new program hosted by the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) on November 25, 2024, at 3PM. Louisiana Medicaid launched its Medicaid Provider Enrollment Rebaseline on October 25, 2024, and future rebaselines for new providers will occur every two months thereafter. Please read our latest provider bulletin to learn more about what rebaseline means and how it may affect your office.

The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) has opened a comment period to allow the public to provide feedback on the upcoming competitive procurement for statewide Dental Benefit Program Managers with new contracts beginning January 1, 2026. You have the opportunity to review LDH's goals and provide feedback on areas of interest through November 22, 2024. Please visit the LDH's website to learn more and submit your feedback.

MCNA's Louisiana Provider Manual version 1.25 is now available. Please refer to the Revision History located near the front of the manual for an overview of the changes included in this version. You may download a copy of the Provider Manual directly at https://manuals.mcna.net/louisiana.

We have updated our Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs). MCNA's approved CPGs can be found under the "Guides and Tools" section of our website and the "Support and Downloads" page in the Provider Portal.
