New Enrollment Portal for LA Medicaid Providers

Providers who have received a letter from Gainwell inviting them to enroll in the new Medicaid Provider Enrollment Portal have until September 30, 2022, to complete the process and avoid their claims denying. Louisiana Adult Waiver Program

The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) has released an informational bulletin about the new Adult Waiver Dental program. This program goes into effect July 1, 2022, and provides coverage of comprehensive dental care for adults 21 years of age and older with developmental or intellectual disabilities who are enrolled in enrolled in the New Opportunities Waiver, Residential Options Waiver or the Supports Waiver. National Dental Study: Round 3 - Final Chance to Join!

Pink Letters Are In The Mail!

In early May, the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) and the five Medicaid health plans sent “pink letters” to every Medicaid household to confirm that correct addresses are on file for Medicaid members. We need your help to make sure all Medicaid members know that if they do not get a pink letter by the end of May, they need to update their contact information with the LDH. If they do not update their contact information, members run the risk of losing their healthcare coverage even if they are still eligible. CE Opportunity: Cultural Competency Program

The HHS Office of Minority Health's National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) in Health and Health Care is offering a free, online educational program that supports the delivery of culturally and linguistically competent services. Dentists, Dental Hygienists, and any other oral health professional interested may complete this e-learning Cultural Competency Program. MCNA encourages all network providers to learn more and begin the program on the HHS website.
